Who Are We?
Sunday Sunset is a Contemporary Christian Church community which meets each Sunday at 10am and 5.30pm . The ministry of Sunday Sunset is part of Gold Coast North Anglican Church’s response to the developing needs of the Coomera district and its surrounds.
We seek to deepen our relationship with God and each other through vibrant and joyful worship that includes song, prayer, drama, teaching, friendship, action…
Our morning service has a particular focus on children and their families (including Communion). Sunday evening is a relaxed contemporary worship which seeks to meet the needs of our youth and adult community.
We are dedicated to supporting each other to live authentic Christian lives which celebrate, anticipate and reveal the transforming, forgiving and healing love of Jesus Christ for ourselves and the community we serve. Sunday Sunset has a strong history of commitment to children and their families as well as to Christian growth through listening, reading, teaching, knowing and responding to God’s story found in the Bible.
We are part of the Anglican Communion which expresses the core of our mission as proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom:
- To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
- To respond to human need by loving service
- To seek to transform unjust structures of society
- To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth
- To worship and celebrate the grace of God
- And to live as one holy catholic and apostolic Church

Men's Group
Do you have to attend Sunday Sunset to be part of Men’s events and activities?
The short answer is no! Many of the Men who lead and attend these activities attend Sunday Sunset on a regular basis. Some men may not find coming to Church the best place to belong to our community. We want to invite you to come to one of our events to meet Christian men and be challenged by the life of Jesus. Our men’s groups might well be a more appropriate place for you to find friendship, support and asks questions about life.
